Response Ability: Engine 16 responds to all calls on the west side (and west central) New Fairfield as the first due apparatus out of Ball Pond Fire Company. It is equipped to handle structure fires, motor vehicle accidents, rescue, emergency medical assist, automatic smoke/fire alarms, and carbon monoxide calls. E-16 is also often used for calls at central and east side of New Fairfield when needed. E-16 is a primary apparatus and key within the company and department
